Baptism...
- Baptism symbolizes the new life in Christ. When you go under the water you are saying “The old person is gone and now a new person lives in his or her place.”
- Baptism is also a confession. Jesus said that we should confess him before others. When you are baptized you are letting the world know that you are now a follower of Jesus.
- Baptist is also an act of obedience. We baptize because Jesus was baptized and he told us to be baptized.
